Here is a series of imagery and designs that represent a specific location. I hoped to bring to mind thoughts of a special destination, drawing in a younger audience. This location brings to my mind play, imagination, and appreciation for going outside, which I worked to impart through my designs.

This motion project uses a series of illustrations to explore semantic meaning. In this project, focusing on the semantics of a cupcake and the paradigms, ideologies, myths, and other discourses that may be associated with cupcakes or the act of making them.

Here I have an example of a marketing piece a bookstore or similar business could use as a relatively inexpensive means of advertising books. Using stories that are in the common domain, I created a set of three mini-books with matching covers and type layouts. Each cost just pennies to produce, making them relatively inexpensive but engaging marketing pieces.

This project aimed to demonstrate statistics in an engaging way moving from the big picture to the more local story. I chose to look at statistics related to energy production, moving from the global scale down to North Carolina. With several power plants across the state, North Carolina’s power production is an interesting landscape.
